Description
In this letter titled 'IInd Chapter', John Banting says that as he has already written too much he will continue. He expresses how it 'is good to work together', and asks Spender for advice on a lily he is painting, which he is getting bored of. He continues by offering advice on the decoration of various rooms. He ends by confessing, 'I implore you to do lots of things and then grumble when you do them - you might say but you could do them in a different way, which is the whole point'.
