Hotel Diaries is a series of video recordings made in hotel rooms around the world between 2001 and 2007, all of which relate the artist’s personal experiences to the current conflicts in the Middle East in the ‘found’ film set of a hotel room. A selection of videos from the series was screened, followed by a discussion between John Smith and Tate Britain curator Andrew Wilson.
