PLAY STUDIO: Dream Worlds

Opens 5 July

Shell Telephone by Rosemary Jane Cronin, courtesy the artist

Explore a surreal world of costumes, sound, tarot and making

Inspired by surrealist ways of thinking and making, you’re invited to create costume collages, note down your dreams and explore life lessons hidden in tarot cards based on artworks on view at Tate Britain. What will you bring to this space, how will it make you feel, and what will you take away?

Devised by artist Rosemary Jane Cronin with Tate Britain’s Early Years and Families’ team.

Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

The Exhibition is on the Main floor of the gallery.

  • Accessible, standard and Changing Places toilets are located on the Lower floor.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.

To help plan your visit to Tate Britain, have a look at our visual story. It includes photographs and information about what you can expect from a visit to the gallery.
