David Hockney is an artist who is continuously experimenting, finding new ways of seeing the world and presenting it back to us. This day-long conference taking place at the Paul Mellon Centre brings together current research and scholarship, opening up new art historical, literary and intellectual connections to the artist. Speakers include Chris Stephens, Head of Displays and Lead Curator, Modern British Art, Tate Britain; Edith Devaney, Curator and Head of the Summer Exhibition, Royal Academy.
Organised in collaboration with and supported by the Paul Mellon Centre.
