Discover LGBTQ+ Voices from the archives at Wellcome Collection

From queer zines and resources destigmatising HIV, to posters made for British Indian LGBTQ+ communities and transgender activist groups, join us as we draw out some of the queer voices and histories in our collection.

You can also drop by to make your own badge inspired by our collection materials.

Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library exploring health and human experience. We hold a wealth of material deeply connected to queer heritage, history, and experience in both the past and the present.

This event is part of Queer and Now, a festival dedicated to the powerful role of LGBTQIA+ art and culture in the UK.

Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

There is a lift between the Lower and Main floors. Alternatively you can take the stairs.

Accessible and standard toilets are located on the Lower floor.
A Changing Places toilet is not currently available.
Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.
A quiet space is available
