Friend Request: Communal Connections in a Common Space

26 February – 4 March 2018
Friend Request: Communal connections in a common space

During January and February 2018 a group of young people aged 19-25 have been developing skills in and experience of working in galleries through a pilot of a new course at Tate Liverpool, Jumpstart: Get into the arts. The culmination of the course has been to programme the Tate Exchange space for a week. During the past seven weeks the group have had to get to know each other and have developed an important bond with each other. The value of these new friendships has become the focus of their project for Tate Exchange where they will invite visitors to explore and reflect upon the way we truly connect with others in a social media driven world.
