7 March 2013 at 10.00–16.00
Young Tate at Tate Liverpool

Young Tate at Tate Liverpool

Suitable for AS, A Level and BTEC students.

Working with artist Jennifer Collier students will have the opportunity to see Glam! The Performance of Style and explore a range of techniques in the studio. Jennifer's own practice focuses on creating work from paper; by bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching producing unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects. Participants will create their own works with materials that reference the exhibition themes of surface, glamour and identity.
