Late at Tate Liverpool – Emin and Bacon

16 September 2016 at 19.00–23.00
Late at Tate Liverpool

Join us for a fantastic evening of great art, surprising events and delicious food – all after hours

We’re keeping Tracey Emin and William Blake in Focus open for longer, giving you more time to see this brand new, free display on its first day.

Do you have a confession to make? ºÚÁÏÉç invite you to take part in Who Are You? Inspired by Emin’s infamous self-portrait My Bed 1998, we’re asking participants share their happiest, wildest, most fun memories to create a truly original and temporary artwork in the gallery.

Have you ever wondered what a Francis Bacon artwork might sound like? Grab a ticket for In Response to…Francis Bacon. Curated by Liverpool music magazine Bido Lito!, you’re invited to enjoy a live, reimagining of the artwork on display in our current exhibition Francis Bacon: Invisible Rooms (³Ù¾±³¦°ì±ð³ÙÌý°ù±ð±ç³Ü¾±°ù±ð»å).

Don’t forget, it’s your last chance to see our special exhibitions Francis Bacon: Invisible Rooms and Maria Lassnig.  We’ll be keeping both shows open for longer on this special evening (³Ù¾±³¦°ì±ð³ÙÌý°ù±ð±ç³Ü¾±°ù±ð»å).

And if you’re hungry for more, we’ll be Late at Tate Liverpool Café with live music from Annexe the Moon.  We’ll be staying open late, serving up the very best food and a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to help you make the most of your evening.

Please check individual events for open and close times.  You will require a ticket for In Response to Francis Bacon or if you are visiting Francis Bacon: Invisible Rooms and Maria Lassnig.  The rest of the evening activities are free and drop in.
