Tracing the Century: Drawing Master Class

30 November 2012 at 10.30–16.30

Join artist J. Chuhan for a master class in drawing inspired by Tracing the Century: Drawing as a Catalyst for Change.Ìý

This day-long master class will focus on experimentation with materials and exploring the human figure, including the mind and body. Participants will analyse drawing processes and techniques, and be guided to produce work inspired by J. Chuhan’s own artistic practice. Her paintings and drawings explore the human form and shifting identities in contemporary intercultural contexts. This master class will use the exhibition as a starting point to stimulate critical engagement and creativity.
