Discover and learn about the works in the ºÚÁÏÉç display Making Traces. The theme of ‘Making Traces’ explores making as gesture, the trace of an action, and includes artwork created as recently as 2014. At the center of the display is the iconic ‘Rothko Room’, which brings together Mark Rothko’s nine Seagram Murals for the first time in three years – giving visitors a chance to contemplate the variety of practices and forms presented in this expansive and exciting wing. From Mark Rothko and Rebecca Horn to Joan Miró, the physical reach of the artist and the ways in which bodily limitations are challenged and extended, are explored through the works on display here.
Please meet on the Level 2 concourse.
Presented by Richard Thomas. This tour will be BSL interpreted.
