Join young makers, thinkers and producers from London and Rotterdam in a radical conversation on power

Can we re-claim institutionally problematic and exclusive spaces? Or must we break down existing power structures and rebuild from the ground up? What would it mean to create new structures? Would they be any more balanced? Can power ever be equally shared?

Join young artists from London and Rotterdam as they take over Tate Exchange for a live night of reflection and reimagination. Explore ideas of dominant and non-dominant culture through a music, photography, film, poetry and visual arts from marginalised voices across London and Rotterdam. You are invited to engage in open, radical conversation and to challenge personal and spatial power structures from the perspective of two of the most culturally diverse cities in Europe.

Join us on Friday evening to...

Interact physically, creatively and thoughtfully with an interactive installation made of recycled materials, typical of London life, produced by

Be immersed in 3SPEECH a soundscape and graphic productions curtesy of London creatives’ ; who alongside Rotterdam MC Kay Slice will also be hosting an open mic session.

Take part in a performative making workshop Patriarchy to Personhood led by London community collective and Rotterdam performer

Engage in poetic conversation Live From the Gutter led by writer and poet and Rotterdam spoken word artist .

Enjoy a chill out zone for reading and networking and a free soft drinks bar.

What is the importance of language? What does anglophone privilege mean? What does the notion of home mean to you?
