Taking the subversive political nature of pop art as a starting point, this talk will address the key themes of the exhibition, such as the relationship between consumerism and pop, the impact of folk art on pop and the shifts in society triggered by counter-cultural and feminist movements.

This talk will be given by Elsa Coustou, Assistant Curator, Tate.
