Barby Asante chairs a discussion exploring the idea of openness, receptiveness and responsiveness in participatory and engaged practice.

Taking as a starting the South London Black Music Archive as an ‘open archive’ which invites submission from its audiences, the discussion will address the role that artists and commissioning institutions have to play in projects that connect communities, cities and society.

Panel includes artists Eva Sajovic and Katy Beinart, with Synthia Griffin from ºÚÁÏÉç and Emily Druiff from Peckham Space.

This is related to the special event: South London Black Music Archive
