Move across borders and race to the finish line in an immersive games room accessible to all

Responding to the theme of movement - socially, physically and economically - Tate Exchange will be transformed into a games room developed by a collective of artists from Spike Island's Associates Programme. Drop in to this accessible and interactive space, to participate in games which examine subjects including disability, seeking asylum, the housing crisis and DNA manipulation. Scenarios are based on true stories including those captured during workshops with people experiencing such challenges. This immersive experience aims to promote conversations, raise awareness and change attitudes.

About Spike Associates

are a network of artists, curators, designers, writers and thinkers who collaborate and experiment with all forms of art. Working individually or together to develop their own creative practice, members are active contributors to a diverse network, facilitating new connections and supporting one another with ambitious projects.
