Tate St Ives Performance

Morton Feldman’s For Christian Wolff

21 September 2012 at 20.00–22.45
Tim Carey

Tim Carey

Described as ‘an extended waking dream’, Tate St Ives presents a rare performance of For Christian Wolff by Morton Feldman, one of the most influential American composers of the 20th century. This piece is a composition of enormous scale, scored for the unusual combination of flute with piano and celeste.

Will Sleath, flute and Tim Carey, piano/celeste. A free talk for ticket holders will take place at 18.15 with Dr Chris Best, Award Leader, Music, and Reader in Composition at UCF.
