Letter from Vanessa Bell, 46 Gordon Square, Bloomsbury, London, to Duncan Grant. She describes her meeting with Simon Bussy to discuss his 'Nation and Athenaeum' review of Grant's Independent Gallery exhibition; her self-doubting attempts to paint; her difficulties finding a nanny for Angelica; her list of future visitors; and her purchase of tickets to see Eleanora Duse play Ibsen in London. Also mentions the Cambridge Apostles, Angelica, Clive and Julian Bell, Dorothy Bussy, Angus Davidson, Roger Fry, Marcel Gimond, Florence Grenfell, Lydia Lopokova, Albert Marquet, Henri Matisse, Harry Norton, Frank P. Ramsey, Adrian Stephen, Marjorie Strachey, and Virginia Woolf.
