Description: This typed letter sent by Barbara Hepworth to Margaret Gardiner concerns general news. Hepworth writes about her birthday celebrations, she thanks Gardiner for coming to the party and says that she had a marvellous time, 'I gather champagne was served from Paddington to St. Erth and brandy from St. Erth to Paddington!!'. She writes that she was excited to have all of her grandchildren together for the first time. Hepworth also asks Gardiner to look after herself and to 'slow down'.
