Graphite, crayon, chalk, and ink on paper, 28 pages plus covers, 1 page is missing, 178 × 128 mm

The drawings in this sketchbook probably all fall within then period 1958-1962, but except for an advanced study for 'Noli Me Tangere', are difficult to date. Among the earliest are what seem to be studies for the 'Path in Wood' pictures of 1958. Half the pages are blank. The front cover is labelled by Sutherland with his name and address at Trottiscliffe.
