Description
The letter describes Nash's experiences at an advanced bombing position on the front line, and explains that he was promoted to Lance Corporal not for an act of gallantry but for his work for the company. Nash mentions that he has received a cheque 'for my "Canal" picture which was in the NEAC [New English Art Club]'.
