Description

This postcards was stapled together with other two: one from Lipchitz to P.Dubaut dated 19 December 1940 and one from R. Longa to P. Dubaut dated 1 December 1940.

This is one of the preprinted postcards with set communication options and were monitored by the government postcards that didn't refer to family matters or any containing personal information were burned.

Set options:
'at, date 194..., good health/tired, lightly/badly sick/hurt, killed, imprisoned, died, with no news of, the family.......is okay, in need of provisions, money, news/luggage, back from, work at/go to school, has been received, going to, date, best wishes, kisses'.

Transcript:

'Toulouse, 27th of October 1940
We are in good health, I'm working on my drawings and I even started on portraits, thank you for sending me your news, could you send me the dimensions of your copy from Van it's on the [illegible word], Have you seen Chaux? Best wishes, Lipchitz'
