Description

Letter sent by Jacques Lipchitz, he writes about feeling despondent because of his defeat in Venice, he says the outcome was already decided as he believes that it wasn't judged for 'the merits but for other reasons all foreign to the arts'. He writes that he must accept it but that it hurts. He writes about meeting a director of Palm Beach museum and accepting to have an exhibition there. He also writes about an article that came out that made him want to give 30,000 Francs to someone. He laments the previous letter 'it was so short' and asks his friend to send him more news about what is happening with him but also about what is going on in Paris.
