Description

Lipchitz informs M.Barr that he is in contact with the American Center in Marseille and its director Varian M. Fry. Fry proposed to him some ways to send several drawings to Mr Barr, and that Lipchitz has already got a letter from him that 54 drawings and pastels were received. Mostly they are drawings for the sculptures left in Paris and in Castelmare.

This letter was kept with a letter from M. Barr to J. Lipchitz, dated 19 October 1940 in the envelope dated 20 December 1940.
