Description

Jeanne tells that it is already eight days since she returned to Paris. She writes: 'Switzerland made me a good inquiry; here I am in front of my paintings, my editors, and I understand, yes, I understand too well how difficult everything is, almost impossible, because it can be achieved in the best sense or can only be done with great power, more material than other . And the mean thing is not holding me back. So I am waiting for inspiration, or a miracle, and at worst I would however rejoice in the interim to be able to live by thought. Thinking of her in poor health would cause mayhem. What about you?...'
