Description
In this letter Marie Seton informs Moody that she has nearly finished her Satyajit Ray biography. She tells him of her plans to go to Delhi and says that she will try to get photographs of Ray to him via Indira Gandhi. Seton asks if Moody will entertain Indira in London and repeats her account of her biography of Paul Robeson having been presented to Jomo Kenyatta of Kenya by Indira. She writes about the unpleasantness between African and Indian students at a party thrown by Indira and asks if Moody can introduce Indira to some Africans. She describes the racial constitution of Jagdish's household, refers to Darjeeling, and mentions Nehru's China policy.
