Description
In this letter Marie Seton writes about her problems with renting out her studio flat in London and mentions towel colours. She describes Margaret [Grierson] as she was when they were at school together and gives and account of Margaret's life in India living in the Viceroy's Palace [now the President's House], including details about the Viceroy's Palace. Seton also writes about the accumulating troubles in India, the potentially explosive situation in Calcutta following Nehru's illness, and fury at the British government's stand on Kashmir.
