Description
The letter concerns Epstein's family affairs and work, mentioning Peggy Jean's and Epstein's own travel plans and his progress on his work for Coventry Cathedral ('St Michael's Victory over the Devil' 1958). The letter also mentions personal matters including that he is feeling worn out, trees being cut down in Hyde Park, his visits to Epping Forest on Sundays, the lack of time to do portraits and Kathleen's resistance to visiting America. Includes original envelope.
