Available online are a selection of items which reflect key periods in Ronald Moody's life and career. These include sketches, a project file relating to Moody's sculpture 'Savacou', letters from his close friend, Marie Seton relating to her life in India, and documents relating to Moody's escape from France in 1940 and subsequent return to England. In addition, there is material relating to Moody's literary work, including typescripts for BBC broadcasts on art and samples of his poetry.

Description
This file contains correspondence relating to arrangements for Festac '77 (the 2nd World Black & African Festival of Arts and Culture held in Lagos). The correspondence relates to administrative matters, the aims of the Festival, correspondence with participating artists regarding their involvement and arrangements for the exhibition of their work, proposed small exhibition in London to display work by the selected artists, proposed booklet advertising the festival, and possible press coverage.

The file also includes: an invitation to Moody to join the sub-committee on art for the United Kingdom African Festival Committee, Jan 1974, a list of Festac entries from the UK zone, lists of works chosen, lists of committee members, and minutes of meetings of the exhibition sub-committee, 15 Apr-3 Dec 1976
