Join us for an evening of beer, art and music at The Corner as we’re joined by our friends at DEYA to launch three limited-edition beers

Back at �� these special releases are part of DEYA’s latest artist-inspired labels forming their NZ series, inspired by the bold colours and cut-out shapes of Matisse.

Expect a full DEYA tap list and be one of the first to try:

Senescence – IPA, 6.5%

Fluorescence – DIPA, 8.0%

Essence – Cask Pale, 4.5%

Plus a lineup of NZ-hopped specials.

DEYA’s longtime collaborator Thom Hobson will be live in the space, leading a drop-in can label workshop. Using props and materials provided, you’ll get the chance to design your own can artwork inspired by the playful shapes and expressive forms of Matisse. Just show up and get stuck in.

Expect a laid-back soundtrack to accompany the drinks and doodling by one of our favourite resident DJs. Music kicks off from 19.00.

They’ve built a reputation not just for flavour, but for a holistic approach to brewing, combining sustainability, creativity, and community. Their vibrant label designs and artist partnerships make them a natural fit at Tate.

We’ve worked with DEYA across some of our most exciting recent collaborations — from the Philip Guston beer launch with live art, to a Tap Takeover inspired by Hilma af Klint and Mondrian. This new event continues that tradition, celebrating the crossover between art and the culture of independent brewing.
