Description

Blue jotter/notebook containing diary entries, transcripts of family letters, thoughts and observations recorded by Ian Breakwell during the period 03 January - 09 December 1975. Pages 20-21 of this notebook explain 'Personal time' in Ian Breakwell's 'Diary'. In these pages, Breakwell explores how the 'Diary' moves from observation to speculation. There is also a description of Breakwell's 1974 Diary which used the repeated image of his wristwatch.
Subjects covered in this notebook include various pieces about illusionists and magic, and Breakwell's works, 'The Journey' (pages 69-71), and 'Repertory' (pages 71-73). A loose sheet of paper at the end of the notebook contains writing about 'The Journey' and 'Repertory'.
